No refunds... They are the worst resume service out there most of the good reviews they had written buy bots I received the resume, It was full of flamboyant words. The only part that made any since was what they copied from my current resume. I let other people in my field look at my resume and the one topresume prepared, they all agreed that the resume topresume prepared looked fake, lies. I am a blue collar worker. My opinion how can some one that does not know the trade that you work in write a resume. I asked for a full refund they said no. The only company I have ever done business with that will not give you a refund is your not happy with there work. Stay away from these people

Yes, my experience with TopResume has been that English must be a second language for most of the writers. The subpar cover letter, resume and LinkedIn profile were filled with spelling and grammatical errors and used the wrong tense of verbs. If you're thinking of using this service PASS. Huge, HUGE waste of money and time.
I purchased a cover letter, resume, and LinkedIn for $300+. None of these documents I am able to use. They look like they were just downloaded off the internet. I've tried 3 different writers and am so frustrated that I've wasted so much time and money. Please do yourself a favor and find a different resume writing service. This one is a scam unfortunately. I'm not sure where the other positive reviews are coming from - possibly fake accounts? Or someone who is just starting out and needed a very basic resume.
ALL of it is true. I'm on month 2 and still don't have a finalized product (3 "writers" later). Highlights: - Outsourced resume writers from overseas (so English is not their first language: yields an astonishing amount of grammatical and spelling errors, not to mention errors using the wrong tense of verbs) - The first writer created an extremely elementary version of my resume in a basic format from Microsoft Word. It looks like they have a standardized resume they must use across the board for different industries - The second writer created a slightly better version of the subpar documents, but still not up to snuff. She didn't make any of the changes I requested and kept resending me the same document time and again. - On top of purchasing a cover letter and resume, I also spent $100+ to have a LinkedIn rewrite. The second writer simply copied her version of my resume into LinkedIn format. For $100. Do yourself a favor and save your time and money. Best of luck to you in finding a reputable service. This one is a scam.
