on 9/28/15The Primo Rule is: Don't buy from TomTop. The second is like unto it: If you must, don't spend over $15.
Although I cannot offer absolute evidence to prove this, it is my belief that many Chinese sellers -- including TomTop -- buy manufacturer's rejects (aka "floor sweepings") and distributor returns, dust them off and resell them to dupes with more money than intelligence (e.g., hipinwithit Americans) who don't understand their scheme... or who won't listen to the experience of others.
It was my experience that EVERY SINGLE ITEM I received from TomTop had the one of the several characteristics of a factory- or distributor-rejected part.
One should remember these rejects were already rejected (duh!) by someone else: sometimes because they flat out don't work; sometimes because they are marginally to seriously out of spec; sometimes because they are prone to 'infant mortality' failures (http://j.mp/iMort) or have a thermal or vibrational intermittency you may or may not discover before any warranty period expires.
Once again:
The Primo Rule is: Don't buy from TomTop. The second is like unto it: If you must, don't spend over $15.
Well in my opinion buying one of those online like that from China is a very large purchase. Tomtop does have a good return service but I think the way it goes is in order to send it back you would have to pay for the shipping and it is not cheap to ship it back. Myself I would be a little scared to spend that much for one. This is just my opinion.
Your going to have to be more specific if you could on the item in question.
