on 8/25/12Even if they don't give you a refund you can call your credit card company and tell them to dispute the charge and then you might get your money back, especially if they never shipped a product.
Thanks I think I will go straight to my credit card company. My account debited £90 in March with no shoes delivered and E mails bouncing this evening.
Looks as if I'd better get in touch with my credit card company, as I ordered boots and shoes a week ago, have had one email saying the shoes weren't in stock, but no sign of the boots, even though my credit card's been charged for both pairs. Even more worrying is the "coincidence" that someone was using my credit card to try and purchase goods from Carphone Warehouse the day after I placed the shoes order...
That last is important, if you believe your card has been used fraudulently and have any suspicions at all about the identity of the perpetrator, you should alert your bank and they should then alert the police. It would be stupid for someone to openly use your card number in a fraudulent transaction directly after being given that number, but you never know.
