If you only want to use the reporting tools (Ranking Monitor, AdWords Profiler, Link Profiler, Ranking Profiler, etc.) then you can use SEOprofiler even if you cannot edit your pages.

If you want to use the optimization tools (Website Audit Tool, Top 10 Optimizer, Keyword Research tools, etc.) then you should be able to edit your pages.
