Question:

Just recently purchased tickets to nj devils game and a ny islanders game in march. all this negative talk about seatgeek makes me very uncomfortable. does anybody have any good experiences to report?

Answer:

Hi. I have used SeatGeek to purchase TB Rays baseball game tickets with no problems. Each time I was immediately sent a "print at home" ticket originally from Ticketmaster (with the original purchaser's name on it). I'm just reading all these reviews for the first time (which are making me nervous too - about tix I just purchased) but I am hopeful my past experience will hold true for these! Hope so for you, too!

Question:

Answer:

There isn't any guarantee! Money is lost! No process in place to notify customers of an incoming event that was previously purchased.

Question:

How reliable and safe is your site?

Answer:

The sirte is not reliable, I wasn't told I would have to pick up my ticket ant some third party site until after purchased. I was promised the following, " In-person pickup is rare, but in cases like this it's the most effective way of getting you your tickets on time. The seller is a professional who has done this before. You can expect your interaction to be smooth and easy. Enjoy!" It was anything but smooth easy or enjoyable. I was told the tickets were ready in an email but when I went to pick them up they were not there. The whole transaction was a nightmare., Don't use SeatGeek.!

Question:

Why am i seeing that all the seats for sale are in sets of 3? that seems weird to me.

Answer:

Hi Peggie, Tickets within the same listing on SeatGeek are guaranteed to be next to each other (unless otherwise noted), so the number of tickets in each set is determined by how many consecutive seats the seller has. The variety and range of quantities per listing depends on the event, but 3 is one of the most common quantities we see. Hope that helps!

Question:

Why so many negative reviews. why should i buy from you

Answer:

HI Randall, Tens of thousands of tickets are bought through SeatGeek each month without a hitch! There are a relatively small number of cases each month where unfortunately something goes wrong, and these customers, understandably, are the most likely to write a review. We require all vendors whose listings are displayed on SeatGeek to have a full money-back (or better) guarantee, meaning that if something goes wrong with your order you are guaranteed a 100% refund or more. We also have a customer service team here at SeatGeek who will do everything possible to help you out if you encounter any problem with your vendor. We think you should consider buying through SeatGeek for a few reasons. 1. We're a ticket search engine, so we pull listings from ticket websites across the web and let you compare them all in one place. 2. We don't have any fees of our own, and we display all prices with the seller's fees already included so the price you see is the price you'll pay! 3. We've tried to create the best possible buying experience. We have detailed interactive maps, many of which incorporate Seat Views, which allow you to preview your view from a particular section. We also have a Deal Score ranking system, which helps you judge the quality of the deals you're looking at. Hope this answers your question, but if you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com!

Question:

How to track my tickets

Answer:

Hi Steve, We're happy to help you figure out how to track your tickets! Are you asking about tracking tickets you have already bought or about tracking events you're interested in getting tickets for? You can do both on SeatGeek! If you are trying to track tickets you've already purchased, there are a few ways to do so. You should have received an email confirmation from the vendor you bought the tickets from and that email should have some information about your ticket delivery. If you have a SeatGeek account and purchased your tickets while you were logged in, you can also go to the "My Tickets" tab on the website or in the app and view the status of your tickets. If you're interested in tracking artists or events on SeatGeek so you don't miss any of the great events near you and can time your purchase just right, you can also do that while logged into your SeatGeek account. You can go to any artist or team page and click the heart button to track that artist. We'll notify you if that artist or team announces any new events in your area. You can also go to any event page and track that event by clicking the heart button. In this case, we'll notify you of any major drops in prices so you can buy them at their least expensive. Hope this helped, but feel free to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com if you have any further questions!

Question:

How do i get my tickets? and what fees are involved?

Answer:

Hi Zac, How you get your tickets depends on the delivery options available for the particular tickets you're looking at. The delivery method should be made clear when you view the listing and at check out. If you prefer e-tickets, just apply the "e-tickets only" filter on the event page! SeatGeek is completely free, and we don't charge any fees of our own. We're a search engine however, so often the sites listing the tickets have already tacked on fees. The price we display on our listings already includes the vendors fees, so there shouldn't be any surprises at checkout! Hope this helps, but if you have any further questions or concerns feel free to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com!

Question:

How do we get tickets once they're purchased?

Answer:

Hi Joanna, The delivery method will depend on the particular tickets you are buying. Many of the tickets you'll find are e-tickets, which are typically emailed to you as a PDF, and will also be available in the app and through the website if you have a SeatGeek account. We also list hard stock tickets, which are physically mailed to you before the event date. All listings should be clearly marked as e-tickets or hard stock, but if you ever have any questions about a particular listing, don't hesitate to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com or tweet at us@SeatGeek!
