Hi Amber. Thanks for reaching out to us! As an online marketplace, our member's privacy and personal information are a priority. Social Security Numbers are not asked of people when placing an order. The only time a Social Security Number is needed is when we are verifying a seller's direct deposit payment. This is used to verify the bank information to ensure we are paying the correct person.
