DO NOT ORDER FROM PROM BELLE OR ANY OF THE "POP UP" DISCOUNT DRESS SITES! This is a company in Hong Kong that has numerous business names/websites. All Of their reviews on the dresses are good (obviously because they are fake!) This company has great customer service and will answer any question promptly UNTIL THEY GET YOUR MOMEY! I've sent no less than 25 emails over the last month, sent pictures, detailed descriptions, etc., and get the same message back every time... "Thanks for your pictures, but from the pictures I can not tell out big problems, so we suggest you keep the dress and forget about the subtle error of the dress, since all dresses are hand-made, it is inevitable that some tiny mistakes will be made during the process of tailoring, hope your understanding" Sincerely Sandra We ordered 2 dresses. One was pretty but not the best made dress, but it did look like the pic on their site. It is currently at the seamstress to have her remake the bodice and remove excess fabric so it will fit and lay properly! The second dress was the one my daughter was wanting most and it was awful! Completely different color than pictured, tacky & sparse beading/embellishments, cheap fabric, and the dress is huge! (Ordered a 2 and it's probably an 8!) Worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life! Like another reviewer stated... Wouldn't order a horse blanket from them! Pay the price at a regular prom retailer and you'll get a high quality dress and not a piece of crap! Not worth the time, money or effort!
Yes, I would love to see PromBelle outed for their scams! More importantly would love to see them shut down so they can't continue to rip consumers off! Unfortunately, they are a foreign company and are not governed under the same consumer laws. File reports with the Better Business Bureau, voice complaints, bad reviews and opinions everywhere publically possible! I wonder if a consumer complaint could be filed against them on FaceBook since their adds pop up constantly? Keep spreading the word!
