Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Plenty of Fish staff and previous consumers.
Not just when you are ON the site, but it also has the last time and date you accessed it.
Pof is looking to pick on certain profiles. Stay away from those free sites. Pof send people spam for meet me. Meet me is useless, unless a upgrade member.
Pof deleted you. Sometimes they can delete you for any reason. Pof blocked deleted members email and ip address that they signed up.
Dont pay anything, no doubt there are some tidy folk on there, just be aware it has plenty of freaks also.
On POF you have to pay for everything except the basics. So if you want to see someone that put "meet me", or did they read your message or anything along those lines you have to upgrade for 20 bucks for one month and it's not worth it. It is absolutely not worth it.
Well, like you said... you knew it was a scammer and decided it was worth the risk to "play a long "... sounds like you aren't interested in protecting yourself and now you're looking for someone to blame for your games ;)
Because they got into your account and they're going to steal all your money they've done it to me several times I'm a dumb idiot because I know nothing about technology I tried to report to POF but they do not answer back I just keep reporting their profiles take a look at the names they come up with look at their names you'll know they're not real and if a guy looks too good or girl looks too good to be on there usually it's true it's full of s*** it's a scam they know the people on there with Google workspace numbers one person can be 50 and they get your text or your phone number and they get into your accounts
I actually met a woman on this site. We were a couple for several years. That was in Phoenix. I'm not in Phoenix now. I noticed that there were kind people and rude people on Phoenix and there are kind people and rude people where I currently reside. I think that's just human nature. It can be frustrating for sure. Ok Cupid is a good place to meet people. The bottom line is that a good relationship takes time and work.
You didn't mention if your account was a paid membership or not. I would first refer to that aspect before speculating on any of a myriad of possibilities, except to add that it is the revenues from the "paid" members, and advertisements, that pays the bills for that site. And like it or hate it, POF does get a serious amount of web traffic. I suspect that, to offset the traffic of the non-paying members and visitors that POF has bots which lottery-style randomly withhold activity from, in the idea that a user will assume that it's just a technical "glitch" or "bug" and either upgrade to a paying membership or get p. O.'d enough to abandon their free one (thereby, by their logic -not mine, no longer seemingly usurping resources of the site). Just a thought. A possibility, but your guess really is as good as mine. In case you missed it you may want to check out my review, posted elsewhere in this one, titled "YOU DO THE MATH". - good luck to you. -
