More questions about Onecom
Hi, I'm on a Onecom SIM-only Vodafone contract which I've had for over 12 months now, am I free to change?
My parents have sold their house and currrently don't have a new permenant address in the UK to move to. They have tried to cancel the True-Telecom contract but have found that they are being charged over £1000 to do so. The original TT salesperson guaranteed that they would save money on their BT bill when they were signed up (which was total rubbish its costing a fortune) AND he wanted to know if they had ever been in business, yes they had (but 30 years before), which didn't seem to matter as they recommended the account was put in that name? Does this sound familiar with anyone else? And has anyone any advice as we are on the phone to OfCom first thing in the morning. Thanks
I want to cancel my contract which was with True telecom but they were bought out by Chess telecom however they are stating I am tied into a 3 year contract which I don't remember going into and it will cost me over a £1000 to get out of. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get out of this contract
Tru telecom keep phoning me saying they are changing me over to them from BT because they are cheaper and asking for my bank details. I have said no over and over again but they continue to pester. What can I do?
Help, yes was scammed back in June. When the contract was sent it was not what the sales guy had said, so totally incorrect. We spoke to TTand was told the correct contract would be sent out. It never arrived. I emailed to say that unless we got the correct contract we were cancelling. Spoke to another Telecom chap and said we wanted nothing more to do with them, finito. In the meantime we were told from BT that they were 'sorry they were losing us' . We immediately corrected them, went back straight away to BT, and cancelled direct debit to T T. We are now being bombarded with exit fees from TT. The last one was £495.14, and they keep increasing. What can we do? We have no intention of paying.
Last week I signed up to go with true telecom. I have now read all the reviews and want to get out. They say I have a 14 days cool off period but I can't get through to anyone to cancel. Can anyone help me with how to get out?
