Go to the item sold & there should be an option to request the release of your funds. For what it's worth, if the buyer does something stupid, that can delay it further. It's also more like 4 days vs. 3 by the way they count so do be aware of that. Hope this helps.

Mercari seems to give 3 days to issue a complaint. After which the deal is done for them. Perhaps you can enter a dispute with your credit card provider?

why does it take longer and longer to get the funds released and then deposited in my account ?

I went thru that too and then it happened Mercari denied that they took the funds from my account after the seller backed out of the deal. Got my bank involved and Now I am the one that is being suspended from Mercari.?
