First off, they use LaserShip, the worst "delivery" service in the U.S.

Once, they opened and used some make-up I bought, another time, they opened my box, a box of hair dye, poured some of that out or tried to use it, put it all back in the 2 boxes, delivered days later.

Last order, I bought a family size of PB, I make suet cakes, one of the jars was open. I don't mean the plastic lid, I mean that was half gone and the safety paper protection on top was ripped open, like one of LaserShip ate some of the PB.

Nothing comes when it's supposed to. Thanks to LaserShip. They are THIEVES. But Walmart just continues to use them.

Now their website is filled with thousands of Chinese Marketplace Sellers. All lying. Saying they're in CA. Nope, they're in Asia. We've been dealing with this on ebay for many years. 99% of the CA sellers are China.

From WM, I ordered 2 pretty large fluffy pet beds. The first one that came was in an open plastic bag, used, covered in lint, and totally flat. The 2nd one very similar. Neither looked anything like what was on their website.

Contacted these 2 sellers, both should have been the same person, both in China, answered me in broken English. These fools wanted "minimum 8 photographs of the pet beds." What country do you think you're in, jerks? No, I'm returning them.

Then these morons said they'd each give me a $5 credit, not a Refund of like $25 I paid, but $5. No way. I had to send at least 20 emails, to each of these companies, asking for a return receipt or a refund, b/c you can't return this junk at a Walmart store.

No, see Walmart sells this Asian trash, takes a % from their Sellers, and they don't care what you get. They have $millions$ in the bank just from these 3rd world Marketplace sellers.

Of course I went back and forth too with Walmart. I'm HoH, it used to be where after an order you could email or do instant Chat. Well that was suddenly missing! When I finally, after 2 weeks, got a Chat going, they told me they'd have the stores each contact me. No! I've already done all that. I want to return these items, ya know, like any of us would do in the United States had we bought them from Walmart in-person!

This went on yet another 2 weeks. I finally said the word that you should also all internalize: CHARGEBACK.

I said I'm doing 2 Chargebacks for Item Not as Described with my CC company. The foreign sellers didn't know or didn't care, but the Walmart employees did. They finally gave me a full refund on both beds. But wow! What a terrible PIA situation, stressful, waste of my time to deal with any of these folks.

If your item is not as described, advertised, the price goes up, you don't receive your item... after trying with WM, do a CC Chargeback. Literally. Take 10 minutes, see all the reasons for a successful CB, such as "item not received" or "item not as described" and contact the issuer or your bank. Forget about Paypal, just use a debit or a CC. It's easy. And especially small businesses, you'll get your money back. The issuers won't keep working with them if they get too many CB's, WM is of course too big, but it's a great one for your future of dealing with terrible service, stolen goods, or items not as described!

Tip for consumers:
Great reviews. That are honest. Unlike Yelp.

Products used:
Food, edger, hair products, make-up, pretty much everything over the years.

Very interesting info. And comments from other users.
I have been on eBay since they began, as both a Buyer and Seller. Same with Amazon, small-time Seller. Tried Postmark, hated it, every single order was cancelled by the Sellers.
On eBay, I have had maybe 2 Seller scammers in a decade, their protection is 90% for Buyers. Now users know this, and the Buyer scammers are ALWAYS on there, opening lying IND cases or saying I sent them an empty box. Make a USPS insurance claim on that, see how fast they wheezle away!
Now Mercari, reading the horror stories, their lack of BBB account, the UK closed them down. My advice: ONLY DO SMALL TIME BUYING & SELLING ON MERCARI!
Forget the expensive phones, shoes, designer labels, antiques, rare items. Take that to ebay. Mercari does seem to protect scammers.
Bought maybe 8 items. Then I got an inexperienced dumb seller.
I bought 2 bras, full price w shipping was $17, for a gift. Imagine the embarrassment when recipient opens box, dumps out many packing peanuts, and there's a cheap Dollar Tree plastic belt!
Odd thing, she didn't ship for 3 days, another fallacy w their system, and took 3 days to get to my box. Starting that day only, Seller blew up my phone w "I think I accidentally mailed you a belt. Oops!"
If a true accident, she'd have apologizes and refunded right away. Nope.
She wanted me to: 1.) Make the same offer of $17 on 2 more bras she just listed she felt were "just as pretty"; 2.) Pay the postage to mail the cheap belt back to her if I "felt like it"; 3.) Which changed to go to the post office and mail cheap belt "back to her asap"; 4.) That "maybe she would mail the correct bras to me with the newly listed bras", after I'd paid for those too; and 5.) For "all my trouble" she would "consider adding $12 Cash to the shipment of bras."
Got all that?
She blew up my phone w this BS and asking "Have you seen the other bras yet?", all day, for hours.
I didn't send a single response. Instead I screen shot all messages in case I had to initiate a bank chargeback, then reported the "issue" to Mercari.
Within a day I had a return label, Prority Mail for a $1 belt no less, and mailed it back. They refunded the entire amount to my Master Card, so no problem there.
I just really think after all of this, I legit should have been able to leave her Feedback. But the Refund unfortunately negates that for both sides.
So I am super sticking to very LOW dollar amounts for Mercari just because I have read so many horror stories. I also do not appreciate that on review sites like this, definitely see PissedConsumer, Mercari takes the time to mark EVERY SINGLE COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM AS BEING FAKE.
Take a look. On these sites you will see User reviews all marked as "This review has been reported by the company as being fake", resulting in every single review writer having to PROVE their review or opinion, as if everyone is out to get them for no reason. Which then makes it much harder to trust in Mercari and instead of fixing issues with their program and system, they are denying there ARE even issues!
I mean, they were shut down in the U. K. So they spend company time fighting honests reviews, which makes them seem dishonest.

When did Walmart start using these thieves?

My package had NO tracking all day. At 8PM suddenly there's a tracking #, never heard of these scammers before. At that time, said "Delivered".

They just stole my not-worth-any-money to anyone else Walmart order, yet marked it DELIVERED at 1PM. I was working in my front yard at 1PM. There was no delivery person.

See Sephora reviews, so the delivery driver thieves know there's something valuable in the box. There have been reports of not just missing expensive makeup, but of the products being tried out, used, put back in the box! Disgusting.

This so-called "company" shouldn't be in business. They've been stealing from customers for the last decade. This company is LYING THIEVES who you can't be bothered to pay decent wages or benefits, so they 1099 them. This sham should be shut down for good.
Start charging the 1099 workers the value of every missing delivery. I bet that they will all be delivered properly then.

UPDATE: Very next order from Walmart, it was listed as FedEx, but for some reason these idiots get the last part of delivery.

My large box had been opened and re-taped, there were a few boxes from Walmart, but this one had different tape on it. This was unbelievable.

~Splat 30 No Bleach Semi-Permanent Hair Dye Midnight Ruby Red - the box was open, the tip of the dye had been snipped off with scissors, and about 20% of the product was gone, all over the inside of the box!

~L'Oreal Paris Feria V48 Intense Medium Violet Application Permanent Haircolour - top of box, where there is a plastic seal, had been peeled back. All of the contents, which is 5 items, had been pulled out and shoved back into the box, so now they barely fit, they were upside down.

So someone from this co. Not only TRIED out one hair dye, they opened the other box to see if they might want to try that one too, but it was a mixture that had to be made, too much trouble, and re-closed it back into the box. Outrageous!

I, too, let Walmart know to not use this co. I also contacted FedEx as to why their final leg hand-off involves actually opening my box, pulling items out, using them, re-taping the box.
