Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Match staff and previous consumers.
It is nice you care about your dad... I think he would start all over again but let me suggest a site for those who are widowed or a widower. I met two widows through match. One had not waited long enough after her loss so meeting her was a waste of time (she is running from her feelings and won't connect with anyone). Another met her husband of only five years on match. He died about six months ago she had no funeral for him just had him cremated and jumped back into dating. She is very attractive and charming but had no remorse over his passing which is troubling to me. Something is not right there. When you get older and loose someone it might be a better go to try and unite with someone who is in the same emotional space which most on match are not. I would not recommend match to anyone. I had better luck with a craigslist ad before match.
The answer is don't waste your time or money. What do they need that kind of money for anyway? How do you know what they're doing or who it is contacting you? Once they have your credit card information, who knows what they're doing with it? They were charging me for 3 different sites before I could stop them, and had to cancel my credit card. Do the right thing and be cautious with this, or you could lose more money than you think.
