My mom had a medcaid trust which protected her assets from the government. she passed before her money ran out. since then i was told (not by a lawyer) that this really does not protect you from losing your money to medcaid. is this true? also, her trust cost us $3,500 in 2010. what does $300 actually cover? i have 1 daughter who will get everything, so mine would be simple. should i assume there would be many things left out of legalzoom's trust compared to what my mother had? thanks! While other large companies and small businesses like mine are helping each other while trying to keep the country afloat during the pandemic, Legal Zoom doubled my Registered Agent price on an auto renew knowing that they have 4 hour wait times to speak with anyone. They literally have had to do nothing as my agent, so this was so unnecessary and reprehensible during these times. Please share this story to others. Hold them accountable.

Question:

I had a claim with travlers insurance on my home owners policy. i had two water issues with in days of each other. my travlers adjuster told me that i needed to take two trees down prior to them approving to go further with the clim. i do not know why the branches were not causing any problems to the house. he said that the roots were laying in top of the ground and that i had to remove those two perfectly good trees that i planted for shade. my contractor/ son was with me. he told me that my chimney cap needed to be reset and a piece of siding fixed prior to them handling the claim. they paid me to fix that stuff but not the trees. it cost 2,500.00 per tree. and my deductable was 2,500.00 per claim. i had to ask my brother to help me out with the five thousand dollars for the two trees. and he did. the insurance company insisted that i remove them. so i paid to have them removed. they are not considering paying me for the trees. my adjuster removed the tarp that i paid good money to keep water out and just stapled it to the roof. he and his roof guy saw it whipping in the wind. every rain would worsen my water damage. th the point that it not only wet the insulation but the ceilings, the walls and under my hardwoo floors. causing mold. they assumed the responsibility and paid to write all these issues. when my adjuster came out and caused damage i was getting sick from the mold. but my adjuster refused to relocate me to a hotel. he said it is just not happening. i only had my insurance with them for a few months. he said so do not expect much. so after i got so sick i called the insurance commissioner. they told me to go to the dr. and i sent the results to commissioners office. travlers found me a hotel with in hours. i need to know if you can write a letter to encourage them to pay me for my trees. and if they do not can you help me file a suit. please help me if you can. thank you. darlene patterson. 3395 andrealee ct , snellville ga, 30039 gwinnett county. 678-760-7642.
