I purchased the Professional edition and I cannot edit my video clips to shorten them before adding them to a movie. No icon to edit?

Hey - Cant download videos and it is not finishing editing
I really need help downloading a slideshow I put together. I paid for the premium version, but it does not seem to work and stalls out at 99%. HELP
