I would like to hear from anyone who has received money from Kickstarter.

Carol B - could you share the results of your posted invitation above? Did you get many replies?

How much time does it typically take to hear back from Kickstarter after submitting a proposal? And, then how long does it take to get listed?

More reviews needed. They write above. What a joke; They remove all those they don't care for. My wife, the other night posed a question, and they removed it. She then wrote a paragraph in their reviews, mentioning a company and they took that off too, as they will this. Oh we've got more reviews for them alright. They're on the way.

If I have a practical idea; one that gets submitted to kickstarter and approved - requiring $10,000 in start-up capital and my mission is assigned to me in this fashion: "Raise $2,000 on your own by (MM/DD/YYYY)... Can I throw $2,000 into the fundraiser from my own savings, reach the goal, and then receive $8,000 to begin generating my first $USD 1 Million over the next 5 years?

Or will Kickstarter just steal my $2,000?

Show me the business model. Show me the money. Let's write up a Mutual Contract.

Has anyone 'donated' to a project? Did you receive what you were promised for your donation? If the project didn't reach their goal, did you get your money back? My daughter wants to support a project, and i am not so sure about kickstarter, as i have never heard of it until today... thanks in advance for any information you can provide!
