Answer:

I faced same problem, they do not notify us with possible duty and VAT charges in the website! My total oder was 186 £, and DHL charge me for 61 £ for Duty+VAT! I contact to them and they promised to refund the fee. Please chat with them and ask for Duty and VAT refund.

I placed an order for a bridesmaid dress on 2/29 and after reading these reviews, i see i have to pay more money to get it here in the us. is this correct? if so, why was this not made mention before i placed my order?

Not true! I just received my beautiful special occasion evening dress this morning. It is true to size and GREAT QUALITY FOR A GREAT PRICE. IT ONLY TOOK 2 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY. I AM SO HAPPY WITH JJ HOUSE AND WILL DEFIANTLY BUY FROM THE AGAIN!

With no where to try these dresses on, what if you have to order several dresses and return the others until you find the right one?

Sorry, all our dresses are made to order and we don't sell any dresses in stock so we don't provide try-on service. The dresses including standard sizes cannot be returned if you just don't like them. We suggest you choose the one you like most and do custom size to make it fit.
