Question:

I thought the fd was terrible and i did not sign up for the subscription only the trial. your company will not issue me a full refund. i am, so unhappy with this company and will be disputing the charge and giving poor reviews. what a ripoff

Answer:

Hi Susan, I'm so sorry for the confusion! We are indeed a subscription service, because customers use us as a lifestyle choice and want to receive weekly meals, rather than one-off meals. We do offer some customers a trial price for their first delivery, which is what you are referencing, so that people can try our meals at low cost. You would have the ability to pause your subscription and stop it from producing future orders, but you would have to do this before you are charged for your second delivery - because, at that point, we send your order to our production facility for them to produce it and ship it out. I'm certainly sorry for the confusion in your case! Please know our meals are freezable, so, if you don't need the extra ones now, you could save them for a rainy day! We also have made sure you won't receive any further meals or charges.

Question:

Is the food still ok after the due date on the box?

Answer:

Typically the "use by" date on the meals is about 4-5 days from the ship date. We can't recommend that you eat meals past that date--that would be up to your discretion. You can certainly freeze them to make them last far longer, you'll just want to add at least 1 minute to the heating time if heating from frozen.

Question:

Can i microwave two meals at once?

Answer:

If your microwave is large enough, I would imagine so.:-) You may need to adjust the recommended heating time.

Question:

Hi. what kind if plan would you recommend for a family of 4 people? (we only want to try dinner entries and the smallest plan posible to start with). thanks.

Answer:

We have a couple of different plans--each meal is 1 serving, so the plan you choose depends upon how many meals you need. 6 Meals/Week - $69/week 9 Meals/Week - $99/week 12 Meals/Week - $129/week 21 Meals/Week - $229/week

Question:

Will the meals last for 6 or 7 days in the refrigerator if you are a single? i would only be able to eat one meal per day.

Answer:

Great question! The meals will have a use-by date stamped on them & you should store them in the refrigerator through that date. It's typically 4-5 days out. After that you can certainly freeze some of the meals if needed--just thaw in the fridge prior to reheating! And keep in mind that the egg breakfasts and any fish dishes don't freeze & thaw out as well as the other items.

Question:

Can you skip a week or more if necessary? do i get to make new choices each week?

Answer:

You definitely can skip multiple weeks! The Meal Planner, once you order, will preview 3-5 weeks and you can skip any of those, continuing to check it as the weeks go on and more get added there.:-) Or you also have the option to pause indefinitely! You can indeed change your selected meals each week.:-)

Question:

Do you have to have a subscription to order?

Answer:

All of our plans are subscriptions, but you can skip weeks, pause indefinitely, or cancel permanently as needed! Simply by clicking the appropriate buttons on the website. We simply require that you do so by your weekly deadline--about 5-6 days before your next scheduled delivery. You can pause immediately after ordering if you'd like to get the first delivery then have plenty of time to try all of the meals & decide if you'd like to continue.:-)
