on 4/30/16Hi Margo! The meals can certainly be good for that situation. We are more concerned with where calories are coming from than closely counting calories (whole, unaltered, nutrient-dense ingredients), but our meals are indeed portioned differently than your typical larger-than-life American restaurant portions.:-)
We use the following portion guidelines:
-main protein source: roughly 5 ounces
-veggies: roughly 3-4 ounces
-potatoes/rice/etc: roughly 3-4 ounces
