Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Freelancer staff and previous consumers.
Ask them why and how it will be taken? Asking about rights which you should have and answer there support team if they give any unfair clauses.
No one should be asking for any type of deposit. That happened to me with someone who wanted to hire me and the job never worked out. I ended up having to dispute it through my pay pal account. It was for $20 and this perspective employee was fighting me! In the end i got my money back but do not go with anything that wants a 'deposit' from YOU. You are the one doing the work. Freelancer takes their fee the minute you accept the job. In theory YOU should be getting money once you complete the job. If i were you, i would ask THEM for a deposit in case you never get paid which often happens on this site. It happened to me and many others. Personally i wouldn't bother. Good luck with your work.
If you paid via credit card or pay pal, i would dispute it through the credit card company or pay pal. This will likely be the only way you will recoup any funds. I accepted 3-4 jobs and never got paid for one. Pay pal honored a $60 refund to me because once i accepted the job and Freelancer had their money this perspective employee dropped off the face of the earth and never even gave me the work never mind get paid for it. Good luck.
My business collapse 8 months ago, I had no hope of getting my business alife again. I tried to borrow money from the bank but I did not have enough money in my credit card and no property as collateral to get a loan, but someone introduced me to a woman called Barry Moore. This man`s loan company was able to give me a loan of $30,000 without any property as collateral or credit card, but he gave it to me on trust. So my friends I Said to myself why being selfish, so i decided to share this information with everyone.
