Unsure of why I have just had $67.58 out of my account from fabletics?!?!?!

Shocked and frustrated that they would charge me without asking me?!

Looking at the reviews this has happened to other people to, what did you do? Did you get the money back?

Hello! This is from the Fabletics team. We know that this question was raised over a year ago, but we would like to address it.

During your initial purchase, you are given two options, either to checkout as a VIP member or Guest. If you chose the VIP option, you'd receive your first order at a discount and be enrolled in our VIP membership. If you don't want to be a VIP member, simply check out with us as a Guest.

As a VIP member, you will never be obligated to make a purchase nor pay the monthly charge every month and you can make changes to your account whenever you wish. Indeed, we are a monthly membership shop but there is no need to pay each month to remain a VIP and enjoy exclusive sales and discounts. On the 6th of each month, you'll be charged $59.95 for your exclusive membership benefits. These benefits include a promotional member credit which unlocks our best savings when redeemed. Member credits can be redeemed for any 2-piece outfit or item up to $100, online or in-store. If you don't want a credit, please visit the site between the 1st and 5th of the month, click "Skip the Month", and you won't be charged. When you buy your first outfit from Fabletics, you have now joined a membership. On a monthly basis you should be receiving an email from Fabletics alerting you that it is time to place an order or skip for that month. If you do not go on the Fabletics site to order or skip the month, then the money you would pay for the order is taken out of your account and put in what I would call a reserve. This will be done again next month unless you order of skip the month. The money in this reserve can be used to order products, but this is in addition to skipping a month or placing an order that you pay for. I hope this makes sense.

If you don't order or skip the month you will be charged $67.58.

I would place an order using the $67.58 that is in your reserve and cancel your membership.

They got you, like they got so many other people with the hook of the first outfit costing only $25. Who wouldn't to for that. But the catch is the automatic membership which you don't realize unless you read everything on the website when placing your order.

Sorry you got hooked into this. I canceled because of other reasons. They couldn't give me a straight answer on the issue of their products as to where exactly they get the materials (Are they Fair Trade?). Also, never answered where exactly the products are made (Are they made in Sweat Shops?).

I hope that answers your question. Good luck.

Called and canceled immediately. They wont refund you. Just offer things to keep you on the membership they trick you into signing up for.

The fine print! When we buy our first outfit says our account will be charged and then they email you and say " you have $60 in credits" I went nuts when they did it to me. You have to call the toll free number over and over to get a person. It took weeks but they finally gave my money back. What a rip off!
The $60 they took from me over drafted my account and made me furious.
Anyway! No more of this scam- they told me I had 5 days at the beginning of each month to hit the button on the website that says no outfit this month and that stops fable tics from charging our accounts. I could never locate the
Mystery button. Arrrgggh!

I actually never signed up. Went through the entire process and then read the really, really fine print which froze my finger when I almost clicked on to join. That's why this is such a "scam" how this website is set up.

After a few infuriating conversations with Fabletics I went to my bank. They gave me my money back and investigated my claim.

When it happened again three months after I cancelled and protested the first unauthorized charge, I went straight to the bank. It took 6 months but they haven't done it again.

Actually when you sign up for the membership ( buying your 1st outfits signs you up) they charge you every month. That money goes towards store credit which you use to buy more outfits. If you don't want them to charge you, you must log on and skip the month before the 5th. It clearly states this when you make your first purchase. Always remember to read when making purchases online

Yes, I got my money back but it took some time. It certainly opened my eyes to these kind of purchases.

We got our money back. We first asked fabletics but got no response. So we called our credit card company, told them the charge was not authorized and they took it off our statement. We never heard back from fabletics - even after that happened.
