Question:

What treatment options do you have for metastatic prostatic cancer treated successfully at md anderson for about 5 yrs. now -out of options.

Answer:

We have a number of options for metastatic prostate cancer depending on your current state of health and progression of disease. We highly recommend you call in to the clinic at 866-830-4576 and ask to speak with a patient care coordinator, they work directly with our physicians and will be able to start the process of gathering your medical records if the physician team feels Envita is the right fit for your condition. Every cancer is unique to the individual so we won't be able to discuss what treatments will be used until we get a chance to evaluate your overall health and state of disease.

Question:

What are your success rates with lyme disease? what do you consider a success as far as treatment for lyme?

Answer:

Success rates are unique to the individual for Lyme disease. While a full remission of disease is always our ultimate goal, it is not always a possibility based on how advanced the disease has become. For many patients getting their symptoms to a manageable state would be considered a success for them. We have had patients who are wheel chair bound and being able to walk again is considered a success even though they may still have to live with other Lyme related symptoms. Many patients experience advanced neurological symptoms and being able to reduce the brain fog so they can hold conversations is considered a success. We highly recommend you reach out to our facility and ask to speak with a Patient Care Coordinator at 866-830-4576 to discuss your symptoms to find out if your case would be treatable or not, we are always very transparent and would not recommend treatment if we didn't feel your state of disease couldn't be addressed at our facility.

Question:

What is the cost for cancer treatment?

Answer:

Pricing for cancer varies greatly depending on a number of different factors. We typically see late stage cancer patients falling into the range of $80,000-$120,000. Early stage cancer is typically far less. While these numbers can go up or down, an accurate estimate cannot be given until proper testing has been performed. Please contact our patient care team at 866-830-4576 to learn more about what could be done for your specific case.

Question:

Do you do phone consults and do you take insurance

Answer:

We typically do not do phone consults unless the patient has already visited the facility to have initial labs performed. We do not currently work with any insurance companies at this time because the treatments offer are far more advanced than what insurance companies are willing to reimburse for.

We also want to address any factors that could be contributing to a suppressed immune system which is a large part as to why the patient began experiencing symptoms in the first place. Question:

Are your patiemts kept comfortable throughout trearment... pain and nausea free?

Answer:

While we do our best to keep patients as comfortable as possible during treatment we cannot guarantee that a patient would not experience pain or nausea. We do run pharamcogenomic testing which allows us to better understand which medications the patient's body can metabolize properly so we can avoid medications that may cause pain and nausea. The physician will review all testing results and apply a course of treatment to address the concerns while minimizing side-effects from the treatments as much as possible.
