Success rates are unique to the individual for Lyme disease. While a full remission of disease is always our ultimate goal, it is not always a possibility based on how advanced the disease has become. For many patients getting their symptoms to a manageable state would be considered a success for them. We have had patients who are wheel chair bound and being able to walk again is considered a success even though they may still have to live with other Lyme related symptoms. Many patients experience advanced neurological symptoms and being able to reduce the brain fog so they can hold conversations is considered a success.
