Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Docstoc staff and previous consumers.
How do i get in contact with these faggots? I bought a book and then when i download it it gives some crap with 2 pages
I never touch Docstoc for fear of unleashing any more contact with them. Ad-free or not, do NOT have anything to do with this bunch of con artists. They charge money for stuff you can find free elsewhere and their "customer service" is non-existent. I got passed around with excuse after excuse and eventually gave up trying to get justice. Just walk away.
Trawl through the many other similar complaints and you might find someone who has found a solution. Many people have inadvertently ticked (or failed to tick) a box on the Doctoc site and have had the same experience, it seems. I downloaded one document and was fortunately charged only once. The document purported to be a full workshop manual but it was only a PDF of a freely-available book. In trying to get my money back I ran into a maze of different set-ups and people with different email addresses. All appeals failed and I never got a refund. Research other victims' stories - and how about blocking further payments via your bank or card company? Good luck.
