Question:

Why would someone bid $35.00 for a giftcard worth only $25.00? what am i missing as it does not make sense to pay $10 more than card is worth..

Answer:

Thanks for the interesting question Don. On occasion we run special deals for "free" auction wins. During these auctions, the bidding proceeds as usual but the final auction winner will not be required to pay the final sales price. Instead the winner receives the product free of charge and only pays a $0.01 processing fee.

Question:

Answer:

Hi Gale. For new users, I normally recommend watching our How it Works video for a brief overview of what to expect from the auctions: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work We operate on the "pay to participate/bid model" so it's required that you purchase bids in advance. This loads up your account balance. You can check out our promotional bid pack prices here: https://www.dealdash.com/buybids Each bid you place takes away one of your bids from your balance and increases the price of the auction by 1 penny, then resetting the clock to 10 seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. If no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sales price. If you do not win the auction, you will see the Buy It Now button. By using the Buy it now option, you will get the item for retail price and all the bids you used in that auction will be returned to your bid balance. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids.

Answer:

Hi Juan. Thanks for your interest. We operate on the "pay to participate/bid model" so it's required that you purchase bids in advance. This loads up your account balance. You can check out our promotional bid pack prices here: https://www.dealdash.com/buybids Each bid you place removes one of your bids from your balance and increases the price of the auction by 1 penny, then resetting the clock to 10 seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. If no new bids are placed and you are the final and highest bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sales price. If you do not win the auction you will see the buy it now button. By using the buy it now option you will get the item for retail price and all bids back to your account that you used in the auction. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted, as well as retain all their bids. Question:

Yes please explain me why are so much level i dont undertant why takes me from level to level and never finilaze

Answer:

Hello Edgar. I’ll be glad to clarify how the Time as highest bidder system works. You gain levels by staying as the highest bidder for an auction. This means you have to hold the lead position of an auction for at least a full second before the green bar at the bottom your screen (also known as the time as highest bidder meter) will start filling up. When the green bar reaches the end of its corner on right, you will gain a level. When you gain a level you will be rewarded with bids which you can claim by pressing the button next to the green bar. The number of bids you receive will increase as your levels increase, but so will the required amount of seconds as well. There's not a limit in the number of levels, so that you can always get free bids, no matter how much you play!

Question:

At firsts i really liked the site and would bid on lower priced items. so after a few months i decided to bid on a acer laptop. i won! was so excited, then... oh yes and i won it for about $25! i waited and waited then contacted them because fedex said they shipped it! the day it was suppose to have arrived at my house was a saturday, the time was 12 noon. my husband was about 3feet from the door watchin football, my teenage son and daughter were home also, not to mention 3 chihuahua's. my point is, the dogs bark like crazy, and 3ppl were home! i insisted it was never shipped to me! ok. so we emailed back and forth, they did give me back my bids but thats not what i wanted! fedex could try and refund me $100. my point is, on items like this one, registered shipping, insured shipping any type of mailing like this was not available! i can't believe that they would send it just normal mail! and as a consumer, i think we should be able to add some kind of insurance esp if the consumer is willing to pay! i am a city letter carrier with the usps thus it really hit home! i still have the emails, from deal dash and fedex. this really made me upset and my son, the auction took 4hours and it was him! so my 14yr old was on it! i mean as in waiting for fedex etc. so i dont do any business with anyone who won't allow me to pay my own postage, pick my shipping company and add insurance. i learned the hard way!

Question:

Answer:

Hey! Well i happen to just post my saga with them, it happen about 3 years ago. But if they dont offer a different shipping than when i won a laptop, i wouldn't buy from here. As my laptop got "lost or said it was delivered" but it was through fedex and just normal delivery! No insurance or delivery confirmation, not even a signature! Just said they left it on my porch! I am a city letter carrier for the USPS by trade so this issue really hit home for me! J

Thanks for writing today Don. Unfortunately we currently only ship to the 48 contiguous states of the US. If you have an address there that we can ship to, we will be happy to do so free of charge. You do also have the option to ship your items to a family member or friend in US and they can forward the item on to you.
