Answer:

Hey Debra, Thanks for reaching out and I'm happy to help. I've checked your Account History and the most recent Reward Redemption I see is from April 19,2016. It's possible that your most recent redemption did not process through successfully. Your current CrowdRise Impact Point balance is 60,043 points. I added an additional mess of points to your account for any trouble this has caused and because your fundraiser is seriously so great. As soon as you're ready just log back into your CrowdRise account and then visit https://www.crowdrise.com/rewards to give it another try. You'll receive an email confirmation to verify that your order processed correctly. Please don't hesitate to email us at Quintas@CrowdRise.com right away if you have any additional trouble submitting your order and we'll be standing by to help. Question:

Hello, can i use pay pal?

Answer:

Hey Monica, Thanks so much for reaching out. Right now, CrowdRise currently uses Network For Good and WePay to process all of our donations. NFG and WePay are awesome but we've gotten some similar feedback from other users and have already started looking into adding PayPal too. We love customer feedback like this and it really is what drives change around here. We can't say it'll happen anytime right away, but please know that we're definitely on it and we hope to get PayPal as an option sooner than later. Again, we really appreciate the email and please let us know if you have any other questions or feedback for us. You can always write to Quintas@CrowdRise.com for more insight. We're ready to help. Question:

Are you different from gofundme?

Answer:

Hey Virginia, Thanks for reaching out and I can shed some light on this for ya. CrowdRise is most definitely different than gofundme. A couple of key differentiators are: -We focus on fundraising FOR GOOD - this means good people all over the world are raising money for Charities, Non Profits, and overall good personal causes. -We have the most innovative and beneficial pricing in the industry. Our objective with pricing is to make sure the recipient/beneficiary receives as close to 100% of the intended donations as possible. -Finally, no one can compare to our level of Customer Service. Please try us, ask us anything. Even if it's for a great new recipe, or you're thinking of changing your hairstyle. If you have any more specific questions about CrowdRise, feel free to email us at Quintas@CrowdRise.com and we'll be standing by ready to help. Thanks so much. Question:

Hi, i would like to make a donation to a charity available, but i wanted to find out if my information is given to the recipient of the donation if i do not leave my name on the actual donation page?

Answer:

Hey Nancy, Thanks for reaching out and that's a great question. Although donations posted anonymously do hide your identity from the general public, the recipient of your donation will be able to see your email address and your name as it appears on your billing information. Overwhelming feedback has revealed to us that our fundraiser organizers prefer to be able to access donor information for the purpose of issuing acknowledgments. The best way to ensure that your donation is completely anonymous is to send a cashier's check directly to the recipient. They can add your contribution to their fundraiser total as an OFFLINE DONATION so it still counts towards their goal. Feel free to write us at Quintas@CrowdRise.com with any follow-up questions. Question:

Can we log donations brought to us via check into our crowdrise page so participants can see a true total of donations rather than just what's been donated through crowdrise?

Answer:

Hey there, Thanks for reaching out and that's a fantastic question. We have a handy OFFLINE DONATION MANAGER on each fundraiser which allows you to recognize donors for contributing to your campaign via cash or check just as if they had donated through your CrowdRise page directly. You may also choose to include the value of any in-kind donations collected using this feature. Feel free to send a message to Quintas@CrowdRise.com with your fundraiser URL and we'll get you some quick instructions about how to add those, as well as your donor's name and a comment. Thanks again. Quintas CrowdRise

Question:

How much does crowdwise charge the recipient of the funds? the terms of agreement were so long and i still came out of it not understanding how much it will cost me to have an account. do i have to give them my credit card number or my bank account number? who gets charged? the donor or the recipient?

Answer:

Oh Sheila (great song by the way), Thanks so much for reaching out and I'm happy to explain. Your question has a lot of different layers because there are a few different ways to raise funds on CrowdRise and they each incur different pricing structures. CrowdRise is entirely free to use. We stay in business by taking a small percent of the donation. Every site has transaction fees. CrowdRise is incredibly competitive and we can guarantee that we're less expensive than other platforms. Plus, CrowdRise is the most modern fundraising solution and your organization will raise more money CrowdRising than using any other site. And, this is importantCrowdRise is one of the only platforms that's in full compliance with all the messy rules and laws in the charity space. We have a few different cost structures. Click Here to check 'em out: https://www.crowdrise.com/charities/choose That link is for Charities looking to raise funds. If you choose the Tre plan, you would have to enter a Credit Card for the subscription, but we give you the first 3 months free. So great. If you set up a Personal Cause fundraiser (where you are collecting the funds yourself), you will have to enter bank account information with out payment processor, so the funds you raise will be automatically sent to your personal bank account. So easy. In terms of who gets charged for donations, that depends on whether or not your donor chooses to cover the fees. If they choose to cover the fees, then 100% of their intended donation will be sent to the charity or cause. If the op-out of covering the fees, the processing fees will be initially applied to the charity/cause. The best part is, even if that happens, we guarantee that you - as the organizer - won't pay more than 5% (Fiver), or 3% (Tre Plan), or 0% (Personal Cause fundraisers). No one else offers a guarantee like this, and it's not even close. We want to have the best customer service in the world so please let me know if you have any other questions or if we can help in any way. We can be reached via email at Quintas@CrowdRise.com Thanks so much. Quintas CrowdRise

Question:

Do i have to be a charity or non-profit to fundraise for my cause?

Answer:

Hey Andrew, Thanks so much for your question. CrowdRise is an online fundraising site. Our goal is to make it super fast, easy and actually fun to set up a fundraiser so you can raise more money than you ever thought possible for your favorite cause. You can set up a fundraiser to either benefit a US or Canadian based 501c3 charity OR you can set up a fundraiser linked to your US or Canadian bank account to raise money to help a personal cause. For instance, you can raise funds for someone who had a house fire, to assist in educational costs or for medical bills. All pretty amazing and all about doing a little good. Can you let me know which option would work for you? Feel free to write us at Quintas@CrowdRise.com with any follow up questions. We're here to help you every step of the way. So, if you have any questions about anything at all, please feel free to ask. Thanks so much. Quintas CrowdRise
