I understand that soliciting via internet still requires the organization to be registered in every State where it solicits. Does Crowdrise handle those 501(c)3 registrations, or what's the difference?

Hey Heather,

Thanks for reaching out and awesome question. If you have an IRS-registered 501c3 organization, your page will automatically be populated on CrowdRise. This is set up through an integration with GuideStar.org. GuideStar is an official database of all U.S. based 501c3 organizations.

If you have an EIN, feel free to drop me an email at Quintas@CrowdRise.com and I can see if we already have a page on CrowdRise for your organization. Also if your org is only sanctioned in certain states, we can still get you set up with a personal account, which you can easily name to reflect the title of your organization.

There are a bunch of options and I'm ready to help you figure out which one is best for you and your fundraising efforts. Thanks again and have the best weekend ever.
