To reiterate, fees on CrowdRise are made up of a platform fee, plus a standard credit card processing fee. These help us keep our lights on, offer customer support, and provide charities with excellent services.

We give donors the option to choose, so every checkout screen shows the Donation Amount and Fees itemized before the donor submits their contribution.

The donor may choose to Edit the Fees line to $0 if they wish, so they can opt out of covering them for the nonprofit. It's totally up to the donor if they would like to pay or opt out. We're happy to help if there were any oversights which caused someone to pay more than their intended donation amount.
