I wondered about the quality before purchasing mine, too. Thought it might be like burlap or so "pilly" that the details of the photos would be lost. Happy to report I was incorrect on both counts. The quality is wonderful. The detail is superb. There are thicker fleece blankets around but this one is plenty warm - good for chilly summer evenings or winter nights. You won't regret your purchase!
I purchased one of their Fleece Blankets and I actually thought it was really nice. The pictures were clearer than I thought they would be. I am not sure it is good to use as an actual blanket but more of a "throw" like over the couch or to hank against a wall. I gave it to my mother-in-law and she LOVES it...
I think the quality is great. It's not very thick, but I think that's a good thing when you need a light blanket for cool Summer nights etc. I've washed mine and the colors are still vibrant and the material has held up well!
The fleece was comparable to the fleece for the walmart throws, if that helps. Thin but not paper thin. Throw blanket quality. If its a gift, make sure you give enough time for mistakes. I had to remake mine 2 or 3 times for off-center, dark, or missing photos. I ended up going to walmart bc it was a gift, but the customer service was outstanding. If it wasnt a tine restraint, I would have had collage.com remake it again.
