When I try to look at the Hints page I get a message that says the page is off line temporarily, and thanks for my patience. Well, it has been temporarily off line for the past 10 weeks at least. When I sent an email, they said it must be my computer, as everything was working ok. Now I see that the 'find a spouse' feature is been disabled on records after 1916. You can't click on it at all, although it's still there in black & white. I was going to stick with Ancestry, but before my next subscription is due I might try to shift my data elsewhere. Not sure how to do it though

Call their 800 number, cancel your renewal (they won't cancel a membership before, and and they NEVER issue a refund), and GET A CANCELLATION CODE NUMBER! If you get charged again, you can call them back with the code number and then (and only then) get a refund. You can cancel online under "Your Account"/"Subscription Options"/"Cancel Subscription" but when I tried that option once, I was renewed anyway, and when I called, the rep said their records did not show a cancellation request. Thus, I strongly recommend calling if you can find the number. They have apparently removed all phone numbers from their site.
