Although my account has been debited with the said amount but there was an error message on page and there has been no confirmation email thereafter.
Can you please advise if you have the money with you, if the booking has been made or not.
Do I need to rebook the hotel using kayak.com
Please reply urgently as the travel dates are near.

All in all, i should have used another website than trolling to find answers for such basic questions.
