on 12/13/15The truth of the fact is that if anything happens you will be left out of pocket because aliexpress always sides with the sellers and don't protect buyers. They are very quick to respond to queries before they get your money, after that they will simply not respond to your e-mails. They are only interested in getting your money that is the main reason that they respond quickly to enquiries(sellers have got 2 faces), and in many cases they can even use your credit card for their shopping sprees without your consent, SO PLEASE DO NOT ENTER YOUR PAYMENT INFORMATION OR YOUR ADDRESS INFORMATION AS THIS INFORMATION COULD BE USED FRAUDUDENTLEY
Because it is a site full of scammers and where aliexpress either allows them to be there and do nothing or helps them scam you by only doing partial refunds when you have been scammed
Don't use AliExpress. You need to understand how AliExpress works. They are nothing more than a middleman between you and the seller, like eBay. The major differences are that AliExpress is only interested in getting your money. They do not vet the sellers at all and very few have been in business more than a year or two, then they magically popup under a new name. Almost everything on the sire is a knock-off After nearly six months, we finally got our refund with the help of our credit card company. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!
Because it happens is the short pithy answer, and people who it happens to dont like it. Face facts, the chinese/indians etc... are not entirely honest - its kind of an equivalent of a banana country, and it ethics and morals that separate a first world country from a banana republic. Do the maths and take emotion out of the decision to buy. You want a 100% success story for yourself, but you enter a situation where there is a 50/50 shot of success. Why enter?
I ordered several Item's from AliExpress and some of them didn't fit. Two of the sellers gave me a refund right away. But two of the seller I have been fighting with sense Nov. 24th. I sent picture's showing that there size 2xl was smaller than a size 2xl that I bought in the U.S. I had to escalate my dispute and only after going back and forth with both sellers. Getting no where, just the run around. I finely had to contact my credit card company, and one of the sellers gave me my money back the next day. The other seller was given the money by AliExpress, stating that my claim was invalid. I do a lot of on-line shopping and have never had to prove that an item didn't fit to return it, nor did I ever have to negotiate with a store to return an item, and have them try and give me less money for the item than I paid for it. And when I tried to get help from there help chat, that was useless. I talked to them 4 times, and would get some of the same answers " I understand your problem" and " I will be happy to help" it was like talking to a computer. When I asked for an address that I could write to someone, they told me that it was confidential. Now any company that won't give you there business address, I would be suspicious of. I for one will NEVER shop there again. I will Never shop at a place that dose not have a phone number where you can contact a real person. Or that will not give you a mailing address. There is something wrong with that.
Because if the seller fights you. They always win. If they don't, then it's all done automatically through the system. And the time it takes to resolve can take weeks
Christina B: your story (with "I hahe spent over $50,000 USD on goods in last twelve months") is a cheap SCAM!
That the items are NOT the items you see in the pictures. They send completely different from
What you order. When you make a compliant it takes forever to get your money back. And considering you pay so little. Most people just give up and move on
My sister and we've been buying for over an year and it was all fine. If I haven't received the item, I got a refund. Of course some items are bad quality, awful fakes, but some are amazing
I can only say be utterly careful and beware yourself for this bunch of robbers!
If it's not the sellers on AliExpress and AliBaba that cheat you... than finally Alipay will take care for an extraction of your money. Just one deal it did cost me over US $50 and here I am having lost this amount and no ordered product. Remember be aware, if not you will regret the same as I do!
Merci;
I did not receive one order when the tracking number showed delivery. When disputing it, I was asked to show a form from local post office. The support agent could not tell me what form it was. Unless I can find this form, I won't get refund.
I guess with thousands of different traders on that site there are bound to be some negatives.
Personally I've never had any issues with products, time, refunds and before the US dollar went down I was completely addicted to shopping on that site
I bought shoes over 100$ seller have me a tracking number which doesn't work at all open a dispute seller reject why I don't knowing they haven't sent my package out what can I do to get my money back
AP, kindly read reviews of other contributors and you will know. I for one have been duped by an illiterate seller who sent me a broken product and when pointed out was very rude, hence no customer service. So, would advise you, if you must, buy small ticket items where if you loose there is no tension and love lost. Suggest check with Paypal to confirm payment will only be released once you accept goods in acceptable condition. Again read reviews, so many of the reader who have been Gypped cannot be wrong. Best Of Luck
I think there is a lot of dishonest sellers on ali express. All these people having these bad experiences were they pay for merchandise and never recieve it. You need to learn a lesson from their mistakes. I personally think Ali express is good for small items like jewelery, replica coins flash drive for your computer and other small items like that. I think you take a lot bigger chance on losing your money when you order big items because the postage is so expensive and are not dealing with a big company that is more stable but a small company that is unstable. Your only purchasing 1 item that brings little profit because they have to send it to far. Another good rule don"t spend more than you can afford losing.
Duh? Because they are theiving bastards! Be careful! They will also try to infect your computer with spyware to steal your personal info. China is getting rich off Americas blind trust and nievate'
I really have no idea. Either I've been really lucky or some have been unlucky. My dad's partner regularly shops in aliexpress and has never had any problems either. Maybe it's a case of people only leave a review when they've had a bad experience. I first left a review about zaful (another online shopping site) because I had a terrible experience and it made me realise I should review positively too.
I don't know this. I have had no such experience. What I do know is that if you pay through PayPal or creditcard, within a certain amount of days you can file a dispute and get your money back. So there is no need to worry...
Make sure to check this through you creditcard company.
Some people have bad experiences with any company. Look at the sellers ratings and read the buyers reviews. I have always received my products. Good luck.
I have been buying there since back in highschool I bought all my prom dresses for under $100 and shoes and they were great! Whenever I don't receive my item I open a dispute and was refunded. Same for items not as described. You just have to know who to buy from. If an item has no reviews, or no reviews showing real photos, and if they haven't sold much (if they have they will have a diamond(s) or crown next to the store name) or satisfaction rating is under 95% I won't buy. But be aware if you buy a gown for $12 chances are it won't be very nice and the material will be cheap compared if you bought the same dress from a different seller for $30+(depending the type of dress of course). On aliexpress essentially you get what you pay for, so a dirt cheap price means you get a cheap item. I personally love this site and have been rarely dissapointed at least quality wise. On here the saying "you get what you pay for" is 100% true. Even in China $5-$10 can only get a product so far while the company still makes a profit. Hope I could help at least a little :)
Some people had a bad first experience, be course they don't understand the system. First you have to communicate with the seller, so he sends you the right item. Secondly you do have to be patient. Postal services over the world have a way to take it slow. If it takes to long for the package to arrive, you must extend your buyer protection. If not, you will lose your rights as a buyer. After 126 things I bought on Aliexpress are 95 % where ok, 5 % of the goods where not as described or didn't arrive, and I did get a partial or a full refund. Aliexpress is as bogus as Ebay or Amazon. If you follow the buyer protection rules, your risk to lose money is zero %.
I am now at over 140 items ordered and received without incident. Everything I have ordered is identical or better than the pictures shown. Additionally, I will continue to use this service in the future.
Since 4 years I but from them, never a problem, they solve or refund with no problem
I have no idea why people are such fools about Aliexoress. I have spent over $50,000 USD on goods in last twelve months and never have a problem
