I am passionate about stopping scams in classified ads and scams in responses to legitimate ads. I specialise in the UK but scammers don't care about borders of course. I'm keen to help as much as I can whilst continuing to learn about new scams and techniques.
I am happy to help with advice on all forms of fraud in classified advertsing. Also happy to help investigate serious or interesting case with a view to helping to get the relevant authorites interested in taking action.

This is a scam site. It promised easy earnings from a foolproof system for betting on roulette with certain online casinos. The scammer seems to make money from casino sign-ups and "the 10% of winnings" donation to them via PayPal, so there could be some PayPal account phishing going on as well.
Be very careful - please avoid!
Paladin.
Fantastic concept and a well implemented site. If the user community grows, this will be an excellent tool in fighting the good fight against the scummy scammers of the world.
God/Allah bless you.
I am constantly impressed by the growing range of good available on Amazon and it's a (relateviely) safe marketplace to buy from.
I love their "Prime" shipping service as it means we buy more often and at smaller values without worrying about shipping charges. Great move by Amazon as it means we are buying more and morre from them as other merchants start using them for fulfillment.
Amazon was a gift from a higher power. I'm glad the UK version is just as good as the American one.
Like all classified sites, ebay has its share of scammers and share of touts. They are not alone though and they do take "Trust & Safety" seriously. Touts put tickets on eBay becasue people want to buy them - that's what a marketplace is.
I have found eBay to be very useful of the years. I'm not a massive user but I've made around 50 purchases and I've never been scammed yet. Just be careful, use your common sense and you'll find eBay is a fantastic place to find what you need.
Like all classified ad sites, and especially the free ones, Gumtree does indeed suffer from scam ads. That said, they seem pretty good at taking down scam ads when reported and there are active forum moderators who aid in that cause.
The site itself carries a growing selection of ads and it's free. I think the site is a good choice for items that you can buy locally and transact face to face (which was, I beleive, the original concept behind the site). But don't use it to buy things remotely from people you haven't met.
Some have alleged that this site is a front for a previous company which generated many complaints (see other posts) and caution is advised. Please look at the Q&A section here for more details.
Perhaps the most important question to ask if you deal with this sites is: "What type of visa do you arrange for me?" - if the answer is "a tourist visa" then yuo need to know that it is illegal to work in China on a tourist visa. Any reputable company would know that.
