I bought a new Inspire3 from Amazon. After about 2 months, the heart readings stopped working properly and I was not able to get sleep data. I also had an Afib episode that lasted 3 hours and subsequently had multiple Afib episodes and I have never gotten an alert. The heart rate reading was all over the place and showed a dangerously low heart rate for several weeks. I confirmed that the heart rate was wrong by using a blood pressure monitor machine which showed heart rate in normal range. I filed 4 support tickets on this issue. I followed all of their instructions to reset it and then it was escalated to the warranty department. I ended up emailing with 6 different "customer service" reps who just told me to do what I had already done and would not discuss replacement under the Warranty. I then called and got an agent who finally listened to me and submitted the ticket for a warranty replacement of my device. I had bought a new device. They are replacing it with a refurbished device. Fitbit provided me with not only a defective device, but also the worst customer experience I've ever had. Save up your money and get an Apple watch. Before this I had bought 3 other Fitbit devices that fell apart, stopped working, or the face fell off of the device. If I had spent that money on an Apple watch rather than these cheap devices, the money that I had spent would have made sense.
