great site for checking out data on neighborhoods in terms of house prices based on tax assessment. if owner claims their property, can update site with more information about the property. can use site to find real estate to purchase, can also use this site to advertise the sale of your house. very helpful bird's eye view of neighborhoods with rough property lines and all house values showing, zoom capabilities though birds' eye view imagery is more current than zoomed in pictures. as i enjoy looking at real estate, i go to this site often when a house in the neighbhorhood goes up for sale.

job search meta-engine. also presents searches for salaries, trends and forums, though i have not used the last three past a glance. the search engine produces listings aggregating results from CL, the local paper, dice.com, monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn and various other job search sites. allows for changing distance from target location. useful filters on the left side to display only certain salary ranges, titles, etc. easy to read and navigate, straightforward and though not all encompassing (e.g. will not include dept. of Labor listings, etc) it does present information from a wide cross-section of other sites.

very useful meta-engine for travel fare searches. presents total fare including fees and taxes when searching for airfares and hotels. allows for multiple multi-destination listings. good filtering system (nonstop, 1 layover, 2 layovers, etc). also includes option to open up separate browsers to concurrently search orbitz, priceline, etc., for comparison. fares are spot on with other sites. does not allow for hotel and flight packages for multi-destination trips. even though both outbound and inbound flight combinations are presented as a pair, can select the pair or just one of the flights, upon which the site then presents possible flights for the other portion of travel. presents the option to search nearby airports. easy to navigate and parse the information.

many items available and having customer reviews on products is extremely helpful when trying to choose one. interestingly, many of the items are also available through the amazon marketplace front, which also include reviews so great for comparison shopping. very prompt shipping. sometimes have heard radio commercials with good offers (such as 50% off and free shipping) and those have worked for me when placing orders. easy to navigate, sorting filter decent but have not found one that sorts with highest ratings first, just most popular. images on site to be expected but not too graphic. overall site functions well

good premise, with its organization and helpful thumbnails of images preceding the posts. a bit more GUI than CL but not overwhelming. however, definitely not as perused as CL and therefore limited in its offerings. needs time to mature and catch on.

site has gotten a bit harder on the eyes over the years due to the plethora of information and ads but still a great site for all things technology. helpful articles and tips on hardware, interesting articles, keeps you up to date on newest products and other things in the media.

always come on this site when looking for a new camera to purchase or see one in a store i wish to get information on. very thorough reviews, detailed pictures and informative comparison charts. appreciate the volume of cameras reviewed.

the authors of the 'articles' on this website have a great wit and many times caused me pain via liquid-through-the-nose laughing. a fun read.

this website is a hilarious read. while often raunchy and outrageous in situation, most quips are laugh-out-loud funny and consistently responsible for giving me the giggles for the next several hours.

I signed up on this website 3x in the last 8 years. once in one state while living in a town with a relatively small population (140k) and twice about a year apart while living in a larger metro (1.6mil) in a different state.

in all trials, 'matches' ran the gamut, from unstables to people looking for extracurricular activities outside marriage to swingers to hookups to people looking online in order to get offline. i believe in complete honesty and found many people looked at themselves through rose colored glasses. i understand the desire to present yourself in the best light but oft descriptions ran into the 'farfetched' category, which i would find out about upon meeting.

i met a whole slew of people, have made a couple of good friends but never a long-term relationship partner. as with the rest of life, it's all about timing and momentum when using these types of sites. ymmv

i should mention that i personally know 3 couples who met on here ( i've met their partners). 2 are married and 1 of the couples has been dating for the better part of a year so there is hope! :)
