After viewing an ad on Facebook, I decided to give Eyebuy Direct a chance and I purchased a new pair of glasses, as a back up pair. The low price for frames combined with additional first time buyer discounts and the ability to customize the final product were definitely factors in my choice.
I find selecting frames to be cumbersome. The price is also misleading. Once you go through the mandatory upgrades to your prescription, the price is so much more than just what they advertise for the frames.

Took forever to get my RayBan Metas. Then the lens had been cut wrong — and because I used my insurance, they have a special return process which is very slow and not seamless. So now I have to wait for all that to go through and hopefully will be able to reorder before the end of the year and all my hsa resets.

Trying on the glasses through video photography is helpful to give an accurate look of how they look on you, however, not accurate as to how they fit. My first pair fit my face perfect! But I will have to take this most recent ones into a local shop to have them fit to my face.

Hi, I appreciate the permission to exchange some frames that didn't work. Unfortunately now that I have the perfect frames, the progressive Rx is no good. I can only read from the tiniest strip at the bottom of the frames. Unless I can get another exchange, this is ultimately a waste of $$. I would be very grateful if customer service could work with me to get the Rx right.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.

There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call.
