Gloria Washington is the most incompetent individual and should be ashamed to call herself a Realtor. She was looking for the associations governing documents which the seller should have. We gave her access to a portal where all the documents are uploaded for the residents for free and she still could not follow simple instructions to download them.
She became arrogant and hung up the phone. We tried again to walk her through downloading and again her attitude got in the way. Horrible experience and would STAY AWAY from her.

Why on earth would people still be using Vylla-Carrington? With horrible reviews I'm surprised people still consider using this company for doing their mortgage. I know people are doing their due dilgence and checking out a lender before they consider using them. So, then I ask again...why? People...don't be so ignorant to think that your loan is special and that they can get you a loan and that they have competent people working there. What does it take for people to understatnd that when someone would want to give a no star rating it should speak volumes on how the company is operating.

This is exactly why I will do whatever I can to warn all companies, all customers, about your business. You didn't know to put the parcel number on the property tax checks? You put your internal closing number on the checks for what purpose? You keep my funds for a month before even attempting to pay my property taxes allowing penalties to accrue and damaging my credit. You refuse to wait, on hold, as I did this morning, even though it was your company's failures that caused my property taxes to be credited over a month after they are due? Or, did you even call the Clark County Treasurer? All of these failures have been passed to my mortgage company and I will take this opportunity to give reviews when possible. I have cc'd this correspondence to my mortgage broker! Even though my taxes have, finally, been credited it's too little, too late.

Thank you folks, for nothing.

After dozens of closings during my lifetime, NEVER have I been accused of money laundering and fraud by a title company because I wired extra money in order to cover blatant mistakes they made on the HUD and because the full amount of the bank loan was not yet determined. I was only concerned about the title company having enough money on hand to close. Instead of giving me a courtesy call regarding the wire from the bank, they refused it and then instructed the bank to lower the amount of the loan. This is the kind of horrible service you just can't make up. Laced with incompetence, let alone illegal accusations, they stand strong on their position. Unbelievable! There are way too many good competent companies out there to ever consider using Vylla Title Insurance again.

Shady dealings
August 4, 2023

We recently put a purchase offer in on a house that was bank owned. Vylla Home never responded to our offer or presented it to the selling bank. When we called the 4th time to see what was the hold up, we were told they sold the house. Yet the house is still listed for sale and showing are still going on. What a scam! Just trying to give friends a deal on property. It's breach of duty Seth Lesselbaum.

I don't understand why Carrington mortgage is using this company. In my ratified contract I stipulated that I was going to use my own title company (it's your RIGHT to use who you want) Then they charged me 500.00 for no reason (My title company is still asking them why I was charged the fee and it's ILLEGAL to do that btw) and continue to sabotage this closing. That are basically penalizing me (and the mortgage company) for using a different company.
They're unorganized and have held up my closing well past the closing date. On top of that they have the audacity to try and claim a per diem for every day that THEY have held up my closing! Their power of attorney has been expired since 2017! They continue to send expired documents after days of waiting on them. And they have yet to rectify anything. They are costing everyone money and I hope Carrington figures something out. I'd still like to buy that house, but ditch the incompetent idiots. Someone should open up a class action lawsuit against them. Duvall

CARRINGTON REAL ESTATE SERVICES

Where can I start? Amazing group with amazing real estate agents. I worked with Real Estate agent Tracey Lawrence *******348 from start to finish with a home I purchased on Auction.com. She was so professional and went out of her way to help me gather paperwork and deal with various people who were involved with my home purchase, mortgage loan all the way until the day she handed me the keys!

I would recommend Tracey and her company to everyone!

Their branch called Carrington Title Services in Plano, TX, which handles settlements for Nationstar's foreclosed homes are not focused on the buyer's needs. If I e-mail them, I do get some kind of answer but the paper work has not being handled swifty.

STAY AWAY if you find out that this company will handle your settlement! I won a bid 10/4/14 and submitted the deposit and signed papers on time. I am still waiting to close. Nationstar Mortgage is the owner of the foreclosed house and their closer hasn't contacted me once to let me know what is taking so long. The settlement co. Just said they are waiting for title co.(Solutionstar) to send the lien certificate but I don't believe that story... I got the lien certificate in 5 business days. They e-mailed me a closing date extension form two times which I signed and I still did not close on the house on the proposed date. My money is tied up and I could of bought other properties by now. In the dark and very frustrated. I hope I get my money back if the bank tries to cancel the sale.

Update #1: I finally did the online settlement two months late. I had to go haggle the state and city sales and recording taxes and fees because they were too high. Got inside the house and there was major water damage, stolen HVAC unit, and stolen pipes throughout. Neighbors said the bank's assigned contractors looked suspicious.

Update #2: Unbelievable! I found out in a difficult way that the house is not in my name yet after two months. My electrician went to get a permit on the house and was told he couldn't. He was so annoyed for wasting his time and money. I went to the city permit office and found out why. I had to call the closing company back and ask why they hadn't submitted the settlement papers. Apparently the settlement papers were rejected by the recording office because the lien certificate had expired by the time it got there. No one had bothered to let me know and I don't think anyone from their office did anything about it. I had to call the office manager to complain and ask him to get the problem rectified ASAP. Four weeks later and I'm still waiting for the house to be recorded in my name. 3/3/14
