But Price Pirate told me that my machine would be coming direct from Bosch, and that they would contact me within 2-3 days to arrange delivery. This is exactly what happened, the Bosch guy called me, delivered when he said he would, installed my washing machine and took away the packaging. All in all I am am very happy with Price Pirate, it saved me several hundred dollars on any retail price, and about $100 on the next best online price.
I purchased a DeLonghi benchtop oven from Price Pirate and the timer stopped working after about 1 month! ONE month! They replaced it with another DeLonghi oven that looked similar but was not the same and guess what, this one didn't even heat up from the first time I turned it on - the replacement for faulty goods was even more faulty!

Absolutely pathetic online store. Price Pirate are terrible. Numerous broken promises for delivery, with no offer of refund or replacement item. Nobody ever answers the phone and email communication is slow. Price Pirate are useless. They only reply to your emails and never send an update on their own. Price Pirate is by far the worst online experience I have had.
I would recommend nobody to purchase from this site, I ordered 6 dining chairs at a cost of $1080 and also charged $120 for freight, $1200 was debited from credit card straight away, receive email later that day, that product was unable to be delivered to where I live, and that I could either choose a refund or organise a courier myself, I opted for a refund which I told would be back on my credit card within 48 - 72hours, that was over 8 days ago, have had no reply to my emails and nobody ever answers the phone, terrible customer service... still waiting for my $1200 refund
There is no indication on the site if an item is out of stock. If you do order something out of stock, and it looks like many ppl have, expect a very slow delivery. Calls to company was handled by well mannered people but the feedback was always "it will be delivered next week".
It turns out now the earliest they can deliver it is 6 weeks from the order date. This is simply too late for me. The lady promised me a full refund. I will update this review later and let you know what happens.
I was very happy with my experience buying a fridge with price pirate, though I did pick up some tips reading reviews on this site which helped me a lot. It looks like most problems were with whether an item was in stock and with delivery. So I called the site to check about stock - I called 3 times and each time was answered promptly. The first time, they said there was no stock but they would try to find one. They called me back an hour later to confirm they had found one. On delivery, the $20 delivery fee quoted only covers delivery to street door - this is not clear from their site and I would have been very annoyed if I hadn't read a review which mentioned this and been able to sort it out in advance. I paid $40 extra to have it carried up 3 flights of stairs. The fridge was delivered within 5 days of order and they were able to give a one hr time slot in the morning. I saved about $100 vs Harvey Norman.
Advertised a competitive price so I went with them. Turns out the don't have the item in stock and can't make a profit selling it to me at the price they advertised it, so they cancelled the order.
This means I've missed the cashback promotion that was being run, despite calling them up before placing the order in the hope of ensuring all would go smoothly.
So I'm now $200 poorer and strongly recommend going with a different site, perhaps one that doesn't put up prices it won't actually honor.
I got delivered a wrong product. They have misleading product descriptions with poor quality images. They will hang up on you and return your calls only a few days later, they will not admit their faults and over all was not a good experience for me, unfortunately they have low prices and that's how they suck people into buying from them. They have female low level management who is under constant pms in my opinion.
The parent company BETA ELECTRICAL should spend more time reviewing the scum they hire to run their online division.

Never Again!... They said a week from payment to delivery. Three weeks and still waiting. When you phone to enquire from the manager, Malcolm he is very rude and just tries to get you off the phone. They give you a list of wish washy excuses for why it has not been delivered as originally requested. I have come to the conclusion they are just completely disorganised and have no idea what is in stock and what isnt. A horrible customer service experience!
I ordered a freezer and was told it would be shipped 8/5 I had ordered a bulk order of meat from the butcher but now I have no freezer. I tried to call pricepirate several times ALWAYS answering machine and NO call back. As this item requires someone to be home for the delivery I have NO IDEA if and when and if this will arrive. Iwas going to order stuff for a kitchen renovation but I WILL NOT be purchasing from price pirate again CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING!
Ordered a fan that was in stock & still waiting 2 1/2 weeks later. Phone number goes straight to message bank & no one ever returns my call. Fax is disconnected & emails also go unanswered.
Disgusting customer service. I recommend anyone to think twice before purchasing from this website as they just don't care. You pay for what you get & at this rate it's absolutely nothing.
I bought a new TV from Price Pirate and found them to be prompt and helpful. Their delivery cost was about the same as other internet retailers I checked.
Myself, family and friends have all bought products from pricepirate.com.au with some items arriving faster than others. All in all we all have been very happy to purchase from this Australian site.
Price Pirate is the absolute WORST! I will never buy from them again. Still waiting for my washing machine 1.5 weeks later. Zero communication - don't bother leaving messages, they won't call back. Was told I am supposed to log in their website daily for updates on my order and this was "the nature of online shopping"! What? Don't think so! I've shopped at hundreds on online stores (not to mention I'm a web designer) and this is NOT the way ANYONE else does it. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Don't do it!
The worst ever online experience! I ordered a coffee maker from this site, and after 3 weeks I called them and they said they JUST RECEIVED one from the manufacturer 10 minutes earlier, and were about the post that to me. However, when I requested to cancel the deal, they went back their words, saying it WAS POSTED 2 days ealier. When I requested the tracking number, they keep delaying providing one until late in the day, and the tracking number CLEARLY SHOWED it was POSTED AFTER I REQUESTED cancelation. Enraged, I requested refund, but they refused a full refund for the reason I requested AFTER it was posted, where was a lie.
Thanks for the above comments. I can't seem to get anyone except an answering machine for this company and still no return call from them. If you are thinking of buying something from the them DON'T! I order an item for my husband's birthday 2 weeks prior, its been now 4 weeks now and still haven't received the item. Tried contacting them but no replies WORST company ever!
Ordered a washer on Aug 17, paid through direct deposit. In short it was delivered on Aug 31, i. E. took 2 weeks(14days!) to get it delivered. The initial estimated delivery date was delayed a couple of times without any notifications. Their customer service 1300 phone no is always diverted to answering machine, and they never bothered to return the call on the message. Delivery (extra $20) left the washer at the garage, refusing to bring it up to level 2 unit saying 'dropping' is the only instruction by sender. Remember how you are treated once order is placed and payment is made. Somehow the washer was delivered from Betta Electrical, pricepirate could be their online arm. I've done numerous online shoppings including ebay, etc. This is the worst online merchant in my living memory.

Ordered and paid for a wine fridge on the 31 Jan, and in the delivery instructions I asked that they advise asap so I could book the service lift in the building. By the end of the first week I hadn't head anything so gave them a call, I was told it was being shipped directly from the manufacturer and that "the manuafacturer would definitely be in touch".
Another week went by with no word so rung them on 15 Feb to be told the same thing I had previously, so I asked how long should I expect to wait, after some coaxing she offered to 'look into it'. At the end of the day I received an email saying that it was a discontinued line and they were now trying to source one from interstate. We set a deadline of the 19th to find one interstate. Hmmm so if I hadn't called I'm wondering when they were going to brack the news to me.
In the meantime I contacted the manufacturer and discovered that the line was still in production and there were not any supply issues. Hmmm, price pirate's response to this was lame, but I'd agreed to give them until the 19.
19 Feb went by without a word, after no word by close of business on the 21 I requested a refund. On the 23 I got an email to say they were handing onto hte accounts dept for a refund, it should take 48 hrs.
It is now the 17 March and despite them claiming they refunded me the money several times, no money has shown up in my account. I've now disputing the transaction through VISA to get my money back. As I have most of my communication via email with price pirate I'm absolutely confident I'll get my money back but it is a long wait and hassle I could do without.
Ordered a dryer and they said they could probably deliver it on a certain date. Later found they had no stock and here it is nearly two weeks past that date, raining and we're running out of clothes. Personally, I think they knew they had none in stock. Not happy, Jan!
This is the worst online store I have ever dealt with. They sell products they do not have in stock and fail to inform the customer of this, do not reply to phone calls or answer emails for days and leave it to the customer to chase them. It will be a public service to have them closed down.
I ordered an oven and a range hood. The prices were the best. I drove out and picked them up. No problems at all! I have recommended them to several of my friends.
An easy to use website with very fast delivery and the product was exactly as described, in its original wrapping and all at a very reasonable price. When I find a service of that type, I am MORE than happy to recommend it to others and also to use it again myself.
We found the website excellent, with an accurate, helpful description of the product we were seeking, and then a simple, easy-to-follow procedure for buying and paying for it.
