GSA SER and GSA SER captcha breaker used to be good. Now, it fails recognizing open source forums like SMF (both GSA SER and the breaker). The developper neglected the engines (the little program that helps recognize a CMS or a forum platform). I saw it because i discovered that in the URL sent to google for scraping website, it used http://www.google.com rather than https://www.google.com. It is now highly inefficient. I noticed the program crawls script platform (example phpbb) and it is unable to understand creating a profile. The developper should focus on the engines to ensure GSA SER finds and create accounts on forums, bookmarking websites...
By the way, proxies aren't banned from google because of high number of requests but because of the URL that GSA sends to google which is highly suspicious. That's because Sven, the developer of GSA didn't update the requests sent to Google since many years.
About GSA captcha breaker, it fails understanding from where the captcha comes. For instance, I had a captcha from phpbb (basic installation with no modification at all). Captcha breaker understood it was an "unknown captcha" even if it came from a default installation of phpbb

Im sorry that you have problems with your setup of SER/CB. But belief it or not, we are always working on the tools to improve and fix issues. We are not ignoring requests or bugreports as you might see it.
That we used "http" to parse google has several reasons: One is that it is faster and was not handled as a suspicious request. If you think this is changed lately, we can of course update this and you can as well without our interaction as it is all editable. We will closely review this and maybe update the default search engine file on next update.
If you think that certain platforms like SMF don't perform as well as they used to, then please share the URL with us so that we can improve things. We simply can not monitor all sites of a platform on the internet. If something changes, we are in need of notifications like these to update things. Thats why we have a forum and till now, noone send us any bugreport about SMF.
Anyway, if you have a site that worked in the past but doesn't do now, please send us that by email or in our forum ( https://forum.gsa-online.de).
Also the issues with Captcha Breaker are not known to me. If a certain captcha type can not be solved, then most likely it is new or you changed something on the settings. Simply send us the URL where this captcha appears. You can also add it easily yourself as the software comes with an SDK.
Anyway, we are doing all we can to keep the our software tools updated and I think this 1 star rating is not fair. It would be much easier to contact us directly to solve your issues. We are not ignoring any email or forum entry. Posting it on a review site like this is one way to get our attention, but not the best.
