From my made experiences I highly recommend to stay away from City-of-brides. This agency lies, pretend and betray. City-of-LIES is the more correct name für this fraud. Most profiles are fake and pictures are photoshoped. Administrators pretend to be the woman in the pictures and play a dirty game. They fool by every given opportunity and with the goal to let you waste your money. They continue to use women's profile even when a woman left the agency and ask to delete her profile.

Although there is some honest women on this site it is clearly run by teams of scammers pretending to be the 40% most desirable women on the site. Not only do you get charged per letter without a chat facility, if you ever want any information to actually meet them, there is other outrageous charges for simple address information. I did experiments to ensure that this was true. Typical behavior from the scammer team was to ignore everything that was written and respond with some form letter in sequence. Also they would send many letters which were a poor match with attractive pictures hoping that you would be sucked into a conversation with them paying for each letter. I did this enough to know that it was a total waste of time and money. STAY AWAY - save your time and money.

There is other signs too. They use privacy protection for this web site so you can't find out who they are. They claim that they don't pay young women to contact you (when it is clear that they would have no reason to contact you without payment).

It a total scam.

The woman on this sites are nothing but professional betrayders having their income from cheating decent and honest men in western countries. Perhaps a little percent of this woman can be open for meet any man if they are lucky but never What they are looking for in the first place an basicly it is nothing but their way of getting money. They are working in groups of maybe 10-20 woman or so, they use the site as their plattform paying some rent for being their. They help eachother writing their letters and of course they are getting money fom those expensive letters. But the most subtle in their strategy is when you have doubts and complaints concerning a lady and you are contacting admiistration for support your mail will be transmitted to the lady your complaints is all about. So they are in other words the criminals and their own corrupted judges at the same time. Very smart but extremely cruel and cheating for the costumer. So take my serious advice: Never use this site in any circumstances for your own best.

The 'Pay Per Letter' structure depends to a varying degree on the local agents reputation when recruiting new women in their home countries. These local agents 'check' women's documents, hire a photographer to take photos of her, translate her questionnaire profile to English and upload it to the "mother" site. The local agent has access to the woman's profile on the site, through an admin panel such as for example http://www.adminpanel.com.ua
And thereafter has the ability to alter, delete, or operate it.

Profits from the Pay Per Letter sites (letters, chats, video chats, gifts) are shared:
Firstly the 'mother' site (the one you usually see in Google's search results in a "sponsored" listing) gets about 50%. Then the local agent gets the remaining 50%.

The local agents quickly realised that the more women they 'signed up' to have in a database, and the more letters and chats they send, the more money they can make.

Women who seek a partner abroad have no desire to sit at the computer for eight hours a day typing letters to men, many of whom they don't even like. So, the local agents in Ukraine and former USSR began hiring translators who would communicate with the men, regardless of whether girls liked them or not.

With the political anarchy in Ukraine in recent years, there is almost no control over so called "marriage agencies". Whether the girl in the photos had any desire to marry someone from overseas became superfluous. The local agents decided it was easier for them to get 20% from 100 people than to get 100% from 20 people. They started paying percentages from their profits to "models" (pretty girls who pose for photos) and the "translators" (people who type their letters).

What you are seeing here is one of Ukraine's biggest exports worth multi-millions of dollars. The really clever bit is that the 'importer' pays the 'exporter' and rarely receives the goods!

The 'models' are paid about 10% of what their profile earns, and are also allowed to keep gifts. Translators are assigned 1-2 girls' profiles, and earn about 10-25% from what the profile earns (depending on the generosity of the agency owner), and also a small commission on gifts sent to "their girl".

Models are not required to ever meet suitors in person. Their job may be finished after the initial photo session, or they can, if they desire, attend meetings with their online suitors when they visit Ukraine and enjoy free meals and ask for more gifts, which they are allowed to keep.

In the beginning, when the men sign up, they begin receiving sweet love stories and confession letters from girls 20-30 years younger than them and don't think that paying $5 to $10 per letter is a big deal. That is of course until their letter writing, chat and video expenditure extends into thousands of hard earned dollars.

The majority of Pay Per Letter sites (letters, chats, video chats, gifts) are scams, if you are looking for a life partner you stand to lose thousands of your hard earned dollars! If you choose to use such sites purely as a social media activity and have some fun, then that is your choice.
