Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Yelp staff and previous consumers.
Both! They know they hurt small business, forcefully add your name to their listings, don't remove negative or false reviews! Wow They should onkyballow positive reviews, readers can judge the quality of care by looking at how many Positive reviews the business got versus how many fake or negative reviews they have accumulated which in the business world you simply cannot please everybody AND YELP KNOW THIS For the only people that have disagreed with me so far are Yelp employees and Yelp reviewers who have been given authority to leave whatever krapp they want on anyone's business and they take advantage of it which is the most feeble thing I've ever come across in my life.
Don't try to figure Yelp out... read my review, trust me! Google your business name ‘reviews'?, then do this for you too 3 - 5 competitors and see what top 5 review sites Google has in common for your businesses, then send reviews to all the sites besides Yelp. Overtime Yelp will get washed to the 2nd page of Google and you don't have to deal with their crooked custom algorithms that will just hurt your business.
Please, any small business with dreams to get advertised. Do not go with YELP. They promised you they are going to help you and they are going to charge you cheap money. Once you give them your credit card, they suck out all the cash they can from your credit card. If you cancel your credit card, they pay a separate fee to Visa to continue collecting money from your credit card. It doesn't matter how many times you change the credit card number. Mi personal in one month, they stole about $800, and they were supposed to collect only $400. This company is criminal on the internet. Do not work with them; they will make you regret that decision, and I never received even one phone call from any customer. SCAM-SCAM-SCAM-SCAM-SCAM-SCAM-SCAM they are SCAM!
