on 7/21/15Abe however did gave me my money back due to the book never arriving.
I second Cynthia's advice, I would not send any check to anyone, most of the Abebooks are not in the US, even thought they have an address in the US. Also, NEVER use the providers that do not have an US address, they are not reliable.
If the vendor asked you to mail the payment to them in lieu of using a credit card through AbeBooks, you may not want to do business with them. (I'm cautious these days about sending checks through the mail to anyone because people can use the routing number to drain bank accounts.) I never needed a physical address to pay for a book through AbeBooks. However, if you need to find out the business address of a vendor, it should be available when you click on their name next to or underneath the title of the book you want.
