I have reviewed my VISA account and found that DK Hardware has shorted me on my purchase refund.
On Oct. 13 I paid $599.98 for an order. On Oct. 19 I was refunded $567.05 for the same order. The refund is $32.93 short.
This order was completely mismanaged by DK Hardware. It was ignored for five days. When I inquired about it's status, I was told that there were inventory issues and that there would be an additional 1 to 2 weeks delay for the order. Then I was e-mailed and told that that information was erroneous. I then received another e-mail that told me that my home shipping address was not sufficient. Then I received another e-mail that said that my home shipping address was okay. Then I received another e-mail that said that there would be an additional $83.53 for shipping added to my order. To make for a total of $166.00 for shipping. I was asked if I wanted to proceed with the order. As this shipping cost is utterly ridiculous compared to simply using US Post, I replied that 'no', I did not want to proceed with the order. I asked when a full refund would be seen in my VISA account and was told 1 to 2 business days. I have now reviewed the VISA account and found that I was not refunded the full purchase cost. It is short by $32.93.
