When I signed up for their Managed VPS plan, I was enticed by a prominent "30-day money back" guarantee advertised on their website, as well as some other promises that were broken. This guarantee was presented without any disclaimers or conditions, which significantly influenced my decision to choose Ultahost over other providers.

However, when I attempted to avail myself of this guarantee, I was met with a starkly different reality. Ultahost's response was to deny my refund request, citing a policy that purchases made using promo codes or annual VPS plans were ineligible for refunds—a policy that was never mentioned at the point of sale nor clearly communicated during the signup process.

Despite my efforts to resolve the matter through their customer service, including providing evidence of the misleading advertisement and requesting a fair application of the advertised guarantee, Ultahost repeatedly dismissed my concerns. They simply reiterated their refund policy without engaging with the issue of misleading advertising or the lack of transparency.

What's more frustrating is their refusal to process the refund through Stripe, a platform known for its flexibility in handling such matters, which indicates a lack of willingness to provide satisfactory customer service.

This experience has been not just about the financial aspect but the principle of honesty and transparency in business. Ultahost's handling of this situation has shown a blatant disregard for both, leaving me to question their integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.

I strongly advise potential customers to consider my experience before choosing Ultahost. The lack of clear communication, misleading advertising, and poor customer service response when issues arise are significant red flags. There are many providers out there, and based on my experience, Ultahost should be approached with caution.

Given the refusal to honor the advertised terms, I am left with no choice but to request a chargeback through my bank. This step underscores the severity of the situation and my disappointment in Ultahost's customer service and business practices.
