I was flying home to Ireland from NYC for a family event. Found the site TICKETS4FOOTBALL and seen tickets for Celtic v RB Leipzig, so i bought tickets for game at celtic Park, spent over 1000 on 4 tickets. Straight off the bat i could not get a straight answer on how I was receiving the tickets, in fairness they did answer me back when I would email, but never with a clear answer always to assure me that it would be easy. Then they sent me an email to tell me that they were able to upgrade my tickets, to where they never said, but they told me to pick up from the box office and asked for my passport number as this would be my reference, I was assured more than once that my passport number is all I needed. I arrive in Glasgow early and decide that I will go to box office early to pick up tickets because I was getting skeptical about how legit my purchase was and didn't want to leave it to last minute. I go up to the counter, with my passport, the guy tells me straight up "WE DO NOT USE PASSPORT NUMBERS AS REFERENCE FOR TICKETS" and that I was scammed. I reached out in the email chain to TICKETS4FOOTBALL and they said use the reference. I go back in and plead with the guy at counter to look up my name and to type in my passport number as reference., he did and found nothing. The guy in the box office at this point is feeling bad for me because I have my wife and young kids in tow, he assured me I was scammed, but said he would talk to his manager about tickets that were released to public prior to me coming in. I got tickets at face value from box office. I emailed TICKETS4FOOTBALL and told them to refund my money(which they still have not). They send me an email back assuring me the tickets are there, but now they tell me not to say anything to the ticket office about where I got them. These people are scammers.
