Since my flight was canceled due to coronavirus pandemic and purpose of my flight was the baby shower, I contacted the agency for the refund.
I didn't want vouchers because I got a newborn and I have no plans of traveling any time soon.
Every time I called the customer service, representative told me different information. All of them first said I can't get a refund for the tickets. First the fee for getting the voucher was $75, then $35, after that (when I said I don't want vouchers, I want a refund), they said I could get a voucher with no fee. Online the vouchers were with no fee.
Today I called and the ticket was eligible for refund or voucher for $35.
Not to mention that I called the airlines right away and they said my tickets are refundable 100%, it just has to go through the agency you purchased the tickets!
I'm extremely dissatisfied!
I purchased 3tickets-for friends and myself, the baby shower never happened, and now, with all the expenses for the baby, I have more then $2500 locked down which I'm not gonna use! At least now they told me I can get a refund for $35 fee! This is a joke!
