This is to inform you that, I have placed an ad for selling a furniture in OLX for which one lady contacted me through WhatsApp message and said she liked it but due to the distance she will not be able to pick up instead she will arrange for olx delivery and would pay me in advance to book it. She shared a link that was showing I will be receiving the full amount from her in my account and as if she had made the full payment for the purchase. When I clicked on that it asked for the OTP I received on my mobile and after that my money from the bank account got debited. When I called up the bank customer service, the bank executive told me that the Bank will not be able to help and although a lump sum amount has been debited from my account already was not showing up in the statement as this was an International transaction executed through a SCAM so it's taking time and still it"s on hold. I have also contacted OLX but they said they will not be able to help me in this.

I was saving money for my father's Cancer treatment and am really surprised to know that the Bank is unable to help the customers irrespective of the fact, knowing it's a scam and the transaction took place as RUB (Russian Ruble) currency which I depicted the entire thing to the Bank executive. OLX as well could not help me but instead are enabling this SCAMMERS to undergo these scams and fraudulent activity
