About Me

I'm a Technical Writer for a leading software and services-led enterprise provider in the financial, retail, and hospitality industries.

How I Can Help

I've been a tech writer for SCM software development for the last 8 years. Prior to that, I spent about 13 years in the student financial aid industry wearing many hats - everything from tech writer, trainer, qa, to associate director. And before that, I worked for about 10 years as a tax accountant with my primary focus on tax distribution reporting and corporate federal and state tax returns. I've been blessed with an eclectic career, worked for great companies, and loved every single job!

The free version is useful and catches small items quickly as I'm typing. And I write a lot. I do feel the Premium version is overpriced. If I could get reimbursed for the expense or my employer purchased the software then I'd definitely recommend it; however, in the current environment, I have to purchase all my authoring software and accessories myself without reimbursement so it just isn't viable at this time.

Tip for consumers:
It's not always accurate depending on the industry you work in so take advantage of the personal dictionary and build your own so it can learn (I think it was Grammarly but it might have been Google Docs idk [it does not recognize texting shorthand lol]).
