My Olympia silverware has a design flaw that causes it to break at the seam. Before Lenox bought Oneida, Oneida would honor their warranty even though the line was discontinued, with a different piece. I was informed today that Oneida will not honor the warranty. The warranty is only good for the "lifetime of the line" and not for the defect of the piece. Be aware that Oneida no longer honors the warranty when they discontinue the line even though it is stated in the warranty to defects will be replaced. Not when they discontinue the line. Poor customer service.

“Same exact flaw and issue with my Oneida "Othenia" line knives. And same absurd reply from warranty department that the "lifetime warrenty" means the "lifetime of the line" and not the purchaser's lifetime, like any reasonable person would interpret.”
