I have used the resume builder and was very impressed, meaning I actually got multiple call backs and landed a job. Unfortunately the job was not what I expected but the Pongo resume did get me in the door. I am now back to the drawing board and since the resume builder worked well enough to get multiple job offers and a job, I have paid for both a professionally written resume and cover letter, and I am awaiting it to be sent to me by email. My experience with Pongo has been very good so far. I can't write an opinion about their writing services just yet, because I have not yet received my resume. It takes about 72 hours before they send it out via email and this is only the second day. If the resume builder worked so well, I am pretty confident that they are competent in putting together a professionally written resume and cover letter. I will write a review once I receive my resume and cover letter package. My field is that of a registered nurse. The problem I have had in landing a job is that I have been out of the work place for some time, and have a sizable gap in my resume. It is very hard to find a job at least in nursing if you don't have recent experience. I did not just sit home and waste away though. I was still applying my nursing skills by being a full time care giver for my son who had medical issues. In addition I kept current on nursing theory by taking over 480 continuing education credits through online learning. I have read some comments where people were upset because the felt the resume builder should be free. You do get a trial period, but if you like the results you have gotten, you can keep the service for a small monthly fee. In today's job market it is important to have access to a resume builder or to have your resume professionally written. It gives you a significant edge over your competition. Finding a job is a full time job in and of itself. Unless you are a resume writer no matter how good you think you are, you will make glaring mistakes. And those mistakes can cost you in landing your dream job. My profession is that of a nurse not a resume writer. So I decided to leave the writing of my resume to the professionals at Pongo. This is a verifiable review because I did purchase both the resume package and the online resume builder in 2017.
