A few weeks ago I was contacted by a man using a Maryland number and calling himself Muneeb. He said he noticed I had a mobile massage therapy business and offered me a $20 credit to try the Sudshare app. Since I had just moved and was trying to find a new wash n fold place for my business sheets, I decided to give Sudshare a try. I did tell Muneeb that the laundry bag to be picked up would be filled with plastic bags that each contained one post-session sheet set. I asked if it would be a problem that each bag had a dried, used disinfectant sheet in it. I explained they were used to wipe the table off once sheets had been removed. Muneeb said it shouldn't be a problem but that I could always message the "sudster" through the app, which I did. There was no response to that message. Laundry was cleaned and returned, so I thought everything was fine. Two weeks later, I ordered a second laundry pick-up, and when the app asked if I wanted ro re-hire the same Sudster, I thought "why not?" and selected him.

The Sudster collected my laundry on tuesday, and the app said it would be returned by Thursday at 8pm. I had timed this so that I would have them back before mother day weekend, which is busy for massage therapists. When my linens weren't back by Thursday at 9pm, I messaged the "Sudster," who didn't respond. The next morning, the Sudster responded saying he hadn't washed my linens and was going to return them because he had already asked me in writing not to leave disinfectant wipes in the laundry, as it wasn't fair to him as a worker. He stated he had reported me to the app. I told him I had never received any such message from him asking me not to put the disinfectant wipes in the bags, reiterated that they were ONLY used on the table and asked him to take a screenshot of the message he had sent me. Which of course he could not do. I don't know if he is a liar or if the app just isn't delivering messages but my response.to him should have ended things. He should have simply returned my laundry as he said he would.

Here it is nearly FIVE days later. The Sudster still hasn't return my laundry but continues to send condescending messages lecturing me about covid and how unfair I was to him as a worker. I am actually worried that he's so crazy AND has my address! Mothers Day is tomorrow, and I haven't had sheets to work all weekend.

Sudshare has cost me hundreds in business revenue, not to mention business equipment and emotional stress.
The "help" link in the app is useless. It directs you to call a number that has a recording saying to hang up and they will text you. But then when you text your complaint, they don't respond. I tried it more than once. I called Muneeb in Maryland, the guy who initially contacted me to ask me to try the app. In both conversations I had with him, he pretended to be concerned but then said he would look into and called me back... and never did. I texted him too, sending my venmo link and asking that he send $132 to replace my 8 sheet set. Nothing. NEVER EVER USE THEM! YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY!
